I knew I had to build a BB-8 the moment I saw that cute robot in the Star Wars movie. I was doing some research and was fortunate to chance upon the BB-8 Builders Club that provided the essential 3D files. This will cut down the printing time\u00a0significantly. Primary Layer Height: 0.2 mm<\/li>\n<li>Layer &gt; Top Solid Layers: 5<\/li>\n<li>Layer &gt; Bottom Solid Layers: 5<\/li>\n<li>Layer &gt; Outline\/Perimeter Shells: 5<\/li>\n<li>Infill &gt; Internal Fill Pattern: Fast Honeycomb<\/li>\n<li>Infill &gt; Interior Fill Percentage: 10%<\/li>\n<li>Temperature &gt;\u00a0Extruder: 200\u00b0C<\/li>\n<li>Temperature &gt; Heated Build Platform: 50\u00b0C<\/li>\n<li>Cooling &gt; Layer 2 Onwards\u00a0&gt; Fan Speed: 100%<\/li>\n<li>Other &gt; Speeds &gt; Default Printing Speed: 3600 mm\/min<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The 3D printing filament colours needed are <a href=\"https:\/\/ixen-robotics.com\/product\/1.75mm-pla-filament-for-3d-printing\">black, grey, orange, transparent\u00a0and white<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The dome panels are joined together\u00a0using CA glue, such as the Tamiya CA Cement or my favourite Gorilla Super Glue.<\/p>\n<p>Here are more picture of BB-8&#8217;s dome assembly:<\/p>\n<style>.eic-frame-69 { width: 500px;
